A Scholarship Fund for Students of The Landing School

Friends of The Landing School are invited to support its students by donating to a special scholarship fund established in honor of Olin Stephens II, one of America's most renowned designers and a strong supporter of The Landing School. Named after one of Olin's earliest yacht designs, The Dorade Society is a group of individuals and companies who generously contribute a minimum of $1,000 per year for at least ten years to assist students with their tuition at The Landing School.

Each Dorade Society donor receives a hand-crafted half-hull model of Dorade with an engraved plaque recognizing his or her support and contribution. The Dorade Society members are also invited annually to The Landing School's opening-night dinner for incoming students and families where the Dorade scholarships are formally awarded to students. The Landing School also features its donors in annual publications and newsletters.

The Dorade Society scholoarships allow dedicated, talented people to acquire the education they need to enter and succeed in the marine industry. When you contribute to and join The Dorade Society, you are directly supporting the career goals of individuals who will benefit greatly from education at The Landing School.
